Acclaim is about to turn the heat on with Beach Volleyball, its bold claim of delivering the hottest, most intense arcade-action volleyball game on the PS2 is very much welcome and should be great news to those envious of Xbox owners who are about to receive Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball.

Featuring fourteen selectable characters each with their own special abilities across twelve sizzling locations such as Venice Beach Stadium, Flamingo Pier, Emerald Marina and Silver Sands Beach. Beach Volleyball will definitely be a pervy, I mean visually stunning sports game to look out for when it is released Aug 2003.

Gameplay modes will include Arcade, Exhibition, and Tournament. There will also be a great deal of mini-games to play so that you can further unlock secrets such as hidden features, special moves and new characters. Dont like the way your character looks? From what we've heard, full character customising will be available allowing choices to be made on the hair, skin and accessory types.

We have yet to see how the TV-style presentation, cutscenes and instant replays will look and feel in Beach Volleyball but judging from these new screenshots of the game, thingsare looking hot.
