Electronic Arts are set to release F1 Career Challenge, (working title), onto the Xbox this coming May. Officially licensed by Formula One Administration Limited, players must start off as a hungry rookie, who must prove himself by taking, and passing, a range of super licence tests - and only then can you take your place on the grid, amongst the world's most famous F1 drivers. Your driving reputation will affect the way your career develops, and which team you race for. Create a driver and then challenge the real-life F1 stars, select your own helmet design and the pinnacle achievement - see your name at the top of the leader board.

F1 Career Challenge will feature full data from real-life, with detailed data from the 1999-2002 F1 seasons; every car, driver, track and team change from this era is in the game. EA promise a completely overhauled gameplay in F1 Career Challenge to bring the closest F1 driving experience to a console to date. Improved AI will allow other race drivers to take on their real-life personalities allowing them to experience racing incidents. Players will also be able to get feedback, via headset, as they race from your Chief Mechanic on the track and from your Team Boss off the track.
