Acclaim take football back to its roots, with four on four extreme action!

Acclaim are set to release a brand-new football title this autumn, with Urban Freestyle Soccer on the PlayStation 2. Taking football back to its street roots, teams compete against their rivals for the right to be crowned King of the Streets. Players will be able to build their own teams in order to make them a mighty force - ready to annihilate all others. Street attitude and aggression are just as valuable as any football skills, and with no offsides and limited boundaries fierce, frantic matches should ensue. "Urban Freestyle Soccer will offer a great alternative to the traditional football game and will appeal to a much wider audience," said Ned Browning, of Acclaim. "There has never been a football game which takes the best from park soccer and combines it with the raw energy and skill which is seen every day on the streets around the world. Urban Freestyle Soccer will deliver the ultimate arcade football experience ever - with innovation which will revitalise the football genre."

Urban Freestyle Soccer will feature sixteen teams, each with their own home playing field. Eight modes of gameplay which will include Street Wars, Versus Mode, Freestyle, Street Challenge, Training and Mini-Games. Choose from over 50 players, each with their own individual looks, catch phrases, combos and special moves.
