Classic deep-space dogfights - now on your Game Boy Advance!

Back in the early nineties Wing Commander was a huge hit, and was one of the reasons I actually bought a PC. Now you can play Wing Commander on the move, as Wing Commander Prophecy is due for release on the Game Boy Adance at the end of next month. For those of you who don't know, Wing Commander is a space combat simulation, with an epic story that follows a memorable, diverse cast of characters - who can live or die - depending on how well you dogfight. Like the PC original, Prophecy will feature a branching campaign that will take different courses, depending on your success in outer space. Players take on the role of Lance Casey, rookie pilot, who must fight against legions of aliens, protect the confederation with escorting and defending duties, and command your wingmen successfully in a fight. As well as the 48 single player missions in 9 different craft, a multiplayer mode will be included, which can link up to 4 players for real-time 3D space dogfights with your friends.

Silicon Fusion will have more of Wing Commander Prophecy soon, but until then enjoy this brand-new trailer!
