We have some brand-new shots of the Dark Knight in action for you.
Posted by John Grothier - Xbox,GameCube,PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe

Kemco will be bringing the dark world of Gotham to the Xbox and Game Cube early next month, with a PlayStation 2 version to follow. Batman: Dark Tomorrow will contain original story lines by DC Comics themselves, written by Batman writer Scott Peterson and Final Fantasy writer Kenji Terada. Kemco promises to embrace the quality of the Dark Knight comics with Dark Tomorrow. Batman: Dark Tomorrow plays as a third person action adventure, which spans over 30 dynamic levels. The Dark Knight will fight his way through Gotham City, Arkham Asylum, Gotham Docks - just to name a few of the stunning levels. Batman fans will also be please to hear that the game is accompanied by an incredible 60 minutes of full motion video, which is true to the style of the Dark Knight comics.

Batman: Dark Tomorrow will feature over 25 hours of gameplay, and will include many different types of mission objective; puzzle solving, hand to hand combat, stealth and trap evasion. Batman will have all his favourite gadgets to help him on his quest including the Batarang, Batgrapple, Batcuffs, Smoke pellets, mini computer, universal tool, and night vision goggles. All the characters in the game are meticulously detailed from the comics; Robin, Batgirl and the Oracle offer help for the Caped Crusader, while Joker, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Mr Freeze, Scarface, Killer Croc, and Ratcatcher all try their best to hinder our hero. While other characters like Commissioner Gordon will also make an appearance, Kemco have announced that a mystery character, never seen before in a movie or video game, who carries a well guarded secret that could change the fate of the whole human race, will be included in Dark Tomorrow.

Silicon Fusion will have a full review of Batman: Dark Tomorrow very soon, but in the meantime enjoy these new screenshots of the Dark Knight in action.
