Springfield meets Vice city? Looks like a deadly combination.

The Simpsons Hit & Run promises a hilarious mission based driving game with exciting out-of-the-car platform gameplay and if you dont believe me, just check out the screenshots cause it certainly looks fun to us.

Over 56 driving and on-foot missions are promised spread out over familiar Springfield landmarks. Characters that you will be able to use range from Homer, Bart, Apu, Marge, and Lisa. For the first time in a Simpsons videogame, you can explore the interiors of locations like the Kwik-e-mart, the Power Plant, and even the Simpsons home. Even the writers of the series will have a brand new dialogue and story written just for this game. To add the cream o top, a multiplayer mode is also promised, heck this may be the best Simpsons game made to date when its released.

We'll have the latest on the Simpsons here on Silicon Fusion, in the meantime just think of Springfield meets Vice city and you'll have a rough idea of the potential of this game.
