The Lord Of The Rings: The Treason Of Isengard
Vivendi announce new game based on the second installment to The Lord of the Rings saga.

Vivendi invite you to play the greatest story ever written with The Lord Of The Rings: The Treason Of Isengard. Due for release on PlayStation 2 and Xbox at the end of the year, players are on the heroic quest to destroy the One Ring. The Fellowship has broken up, and the epic struggle between the races of Men, Elves, Dwarves, and Orcs has begun. It now falls to you to help influence the tides of war as you control multiple characters in their epic confrontation with evil. Players will be able to control many of their favourite characters from the books, and fight their way through the massive battle scenes straight out of Tolkien's Middle-earth. Playable characters will feature upgrades, and some advanced artificial intelligence will allow non-playable characters to aid in battle.

We hope to bring you more on this exciting Lord of the Rings title soon, but until then we have the first batch of screenshots for you.
