Full Snake Eater trailer released (E3 2003)
The small Metal Gear Solid 3 video leaked just before E3 was simply a teaser - we've got the full 12-minute trailer ready for download!

After so little build-up, and hardly any plot details being released during E3, it almost seemed that the Metal Gear Solid 3 announcement would fade with only a fraction of the mass hysteria that its predecessor generated. However, earlier today all that changed, when Konami made the game's full trailer available on the Internet, and now we're going back into hype-overdrive.

If you saw the tiny 1-2 minute clip leaked on the 'net just before E3, you may remember that it featured hardly any of the charisma of the Sons of Liberty trailer; instead just showing off the new jungle setting and some almost-meaningless combat sequences. Well, now things have become clearer, as it was actually the last couple of minutes of a much larger, 12 minute trailer, which Konami have had running at their E3 booth. This full trailer contains all kinds of cool stuff, such as Snake parachuting into the jungle, hanging from trees and generally trying to survive in a very hostile environment. There are also hints at the game's storyline, with the content in the video being set back in the 1960's, and references to Snake going 'back to his origins'. Suspicions of a more action-orientated game were also solidified by the trailer promising 'new gameplay' and everything being accompanied by a much faster and beat-y musical score.

Although still not matching the brilliance of Metal Gear Solid 2's hugely cinematic trailer, this is still well worth checking out if you're even slightly interested in the series, and fortunately we have it ready for download below.
