Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (E3 2003)
The Final Fantasy legacy continues onto the GameCube. Screens and Video included.
Posted by John Grothier - GameCube - UK and Europe

Nintendo and Square proudly showed off Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles at this years E3, and we can report that GameCube owners are in for a real treat when the game is released this December. The game is set in a world ravaged by plague; the people depend on a blessed crystal. The crystal needs Mirula Droplets to keep its sparkle and power. These crystallized drops can only be found in the deepest, darkest caverns of a far-off dungeon, and so every year the Crystal Caravan must venture out to collect these precious Mirula Droplets. Players, and up to three friends, take control of the caravan that must make this vital excursion to save the village. The journey will be long and perilous through a wilderness overrun by monsters - the stuff of epic role-playing games.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will feature multiplayer connectivity - so now up to four players can play simultaneously, working together to solve puzzles and defeat enemies on their quest, using their Game Boy Advance systems to control their character data and view character information. Clues may only be available to certain players, so everyone will have to communicate and cooperate if they are to fulfil their quest.
