After the massive success of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell on the Xbox and PlayStation 2, now Game Boy Advance owners get the chance to become agent Sam Fisher - the best field-operative of the secretive NSA sub-agency. As Sam, players will be sent to execute desperate missions, but should you be captured or killed, all knowledge of your existence will be denied. Two CIA agents have mysteriously vanished in the former Soviet republic of Georgia, and your first priority is to find the CIA contact of T'bilisi. Somebody is trying to hide his whereabouts by setting the archive buildings on fire, so Sam Fisher has to quickly retrieve the secret documents before the buildings are destroyed. Fisher soon uncovers a deeper conspiracy: a plot that threatens to destabilize the world order and spark nuclear conflict.
The Game Boy Advance version features a fresh 2D-based stealth gameplay across 11action packed missions. Splinter Cell will include stealth techniques including sniping, lock-picking, zip lining, rappelling, and hiding. As Sam players will have access to experimental intelligence gadgets like night/thermal vision, some prototype weapons like the pistol with silencer and the modular assault rifle, and also some surveillance gear like the sticky cam and lock-pick. The Game Boy Advance version will have the same storyline as in the 128 bit versions, featuring a compelling original storyline and characters inspired by the world of Tom Clancy. You can also connect your Game Boy Advance to your GameCube to unlock 5 maps, and you can use the GBA as a remote extension for your OPSAT when playing on the GameCube - this will feature a mini map, sticky bomb, and remote access to computers, lifts, turrets, and wall mines.
