17th July 2003:
Rainbow Six is an Xbox exclusive (console wise anyway)
That's what they said about Splinter Cell, remember?

Ubisoft have announced that the upcoming Tom Clancy game, Rainbow Six 3, will be an Xbox console exclusive.
The game will feature extensive online features as well as voice recognition in single player mode, as seen in SOCOM on the PlayStation 2. As there is no such feature on any game on the Xbox yet, this could prove to be the major selling point, especially if the downloadable content allows new words to be recognised.
Whether it remains an Xbox console exclusive after its release is a question that many will be asking, but it is insisted by both Ubisoft and Microsoft that this really is an Xbox only game. Let's hope that you are an Xbox owner reading this then.
